Founded in Paris in 2020 by Romain Boubert, MAES Paris was born from a deep appreciation for the art of leather goods: the precision of construction, the intelligence of the hand, and the quiet emotion carried by an object made to last.

The maison creates handbags and accessories shaped by French craftsmanship, architectural lines and a refined sense of restraint. Each piece is designed as a study in balance: between heritage and innovation, structure and softness, discretion and presence.

MAES Paris works with both upcycled leathers from dormant luxury stocks and carefully selected plant-based alternatives, chosen for their texture, durability and character. The intention is not to reject tradition, but to expand it — opening a more thoughtful path for contemporary craft.
